Amazing Spider-Man: Daily Bugle #2
Bagged: Y // Boarded: N
For £2~, I got this as my first ever comic. Why this specific series? Why issue two? Why, because it was the cheapest of course! Less coyly: because I loved the cover art, and was interested in the idea of a series about the Daily Bugle. Peter being a photographer, and therefore involved with the Daily Bugle, is honestly one of my favourite aspects of his character.
I prefer more stylised art in my comics, but I can appreciate the realistic art of this one since it's actually.. drawn... well. The colouring is nice, too.
Sensational Spider-Man Annual #1

AUGHHHH. OHH… I’m so normal about this one. This contains the most heartbreaking panel ever printed. I'd like to write an in-depth analysis on this comic one day, if I can handle all the rolling around in agony I'll do.
Webspinners: Tales of Spider-Man #11
Bagged: Y // Boarded: Y
Everytime I have this comic my friend asks if it's 'the comic where chameleon confesses his love to peter'. Yes, it's the comic where he tells Peter he loves him and then jumps off a bridge after being laughed at. Seriously though, it's a very heart wrenching and well written story, dubious art aside. Definitely would put as a must-read in a Chameleon reading guide. If I was making one... ;3
