A: It's a reference to one of my favourite They Might Be Giants songs. The title for this page (Mr. Me) is also a reference.

A: I'm 16, born on February 4th.

A: My family and friends. Spider-Man. Cats. Birds. Music. Dressing up. Baking. Charity shops. Porcelain things, but especially angels. Window shopping. Moments where I can talk freely. Other people's collections. Silly socks. Cartoons. Weekends. The number two. Strawberry & blue raspberry flavoured sweets. Spicy tomato flavoured Snaps.
A: Loud noises, especially unexpected ones that make me jump. Small text in a small space on websites. Losing things that should've been in an exact spot. Authority figures. Anxiety. People acting like I choose not to speak. Doing things in front of people. People touching my things. Paying for things at the till (9/10 times something goes wrong). Throwing things away. Gwen always being Ghost-Spider in adaptations now. (YFNSM I TRUSTED YOU...)
Q: What are some characters you relate to?
A: Primarily, Gwen Stacy in Sony's Spider-Verse!! How she talks and reacts to things is just very me. After we watched Across the Spider-Verse in cinema, my mum even told me she thought Gwen was a lot like me! Also: comic Harry Osborn, Superior Spider-Man (silly), and Kanade from Angel Beats.
Q: Fun facts?
A: There are 11 moles on my face. Staying in water too long causes hives, primarily on my chest and back. My orthodontist said my overbite was one of the biggest she's seen. I have a tooth gap between my two front teeth from braces. My favourite song is Starting Over by LSD and the Search for God.
Q: How would you describe yourself?
A: A paradox. Desperate for and repulsed by attention. Unbothered. Bothered.
A: Something you see in the distance. Something out of place and time, randomly displaced here to pretend like it belongs. Sometimes something evil. Sometimes something pretty. Never something in focus. I don't think or feel as deeply as everyone else seems to. I just simulate doing so.
A: I try to be thoughtful and empathetic. I'm not very good at thinking of responses, but I like listening to people. A loser in the cool way, hopefully. Lazy. Ironic. Ditsy. Dorky.
Q: How do other people describe you?
A: Off the top of my heard: weird, fruity, dresses kind of kooky, and that I talk like I'm singing.
A: My friend when asked described me as: easy to talk to, non-judgemental, great humour, fun to hang out with, and an awesome friend. Isn't she so sweet to me? :,)

A: Food Tech teacher in school report: 'Ana is a very quiet member of the class. She participates in some aspects of the class but is easily influenced by others.'

Q: Why 'spookysix'?
A: The Sinister Six are a team of Spider-Man villains that first featured in Amazing Spider-Man's first annual, with the line-up of: Doctor Octopus, Kraven the Hunter, Electro, Sandman, Vulture, and Mysterio. Since then, this team has been re-assembled many times with many different members.
A: Spidey villains have been my favourite part of any Spider-Man media since the beginning. One of the first Spider-Man comic series I read was The Superior Foes of Spider-Man, which was about a Sinister Six which actually only had 5 members, none of them being the original members. (...also the idea of some assholes becoming friends over Wanting To Fucking Kill You is funny.)
A: As for the spooky part... um, I have no clue? 'sinistersix' doesn't seem to be taken even now, so I'm not sure why I didn't choose it. Whimsy?
Q: When was this site made?
A: For a simple answer: March 13th, 2023.
Q: Any reason for the minamilism?
A: WELL, imaginary interviewer, aren't I glad you asked!
A: When I first started out, I was so concernced with how to make everything look and what style would most perfectly show people exactly who I am from one single glance, that I barely even got any designs done in the first place — never mind content to actually fill those pages. Creating page designs can be fun for me now, but the way I set out doing it at the start made it an arduous and tedious task.
A: Eventually I realised I simply wasn't getting any enjoyment or fulfillment from the way I was currently doing things, and spookysix as you know it today was born!
Q: What's with the index page title?
A: I couldn't think of a title, and I looked up to see a spider on my ceiling. I've had it for a while and don't like change, so it just stuck. I do think it encaptulates the vibes of the site, and me, pretty well.
Q: What's with the quote on the index?
A: It's said by Dmitri in Amazing Spider-Man #389, and I'd say (even though it's probably not true) that it was the start of my obsession with him. It was the first time I ever truly resonated with a character's despair. Other characters are too passionate, too active, too something. How can I relate to characters so alive when I have never lived?
A: Importantly though, Dmitri is something. He's someone. Someone who makes jokes that land a bit flat. Someone sardonic yet polite, smug with a low self-esteem. Someone who can care deeply for people, even though it very often hurts him.
A: Just as I hope one day a writer will give him a break, I hope whatever's writing my story will give me some grace. One day I'll know I'm as someone as the next person— and I deserve to be.
Q: Why does your neocities profile have so many updates?
A: Deciding not to use Notepad++ until much, much later in my site making career meant that I had to use the Neocities in-site editor. That also meant 50 updates while trying to find the perfect px count for my boxes to align!
